Our Mission, Our Team

Breathe Easy Home is a non-profit on a mission to promote the development of building methods that improve air quality and reduce asthma, allergies, and respiratory illnesses.

In 2015, we created the Breathe Easy Home Indoor Air Quality System to provide guidance to consumers seeking to make home improvement purchases to enhance health outcomes. Breathe Easy Home’s guidelines integrate the best practices from the building performance and heating, ventilation and air conditioning industries.

Coming soon in 2016, Breathe Easy Home’s contractor accreditation program will provide home owners with the confidence that their home improvements are performed in accordance with Breathe Easy Home’s guidelines by firms with appropriate knowledge and experience.

Also, coming soon in 2016, Breathe Easy Home Certifications will provide home owners with the ability to monetize their investment in home improvements when they sell their home in the future.
